We’ve had family staying, and they’ve all left again, leaving us with a quiet house and a tree to put away. I am such a procrastinator that the tree will likely hang around until it’s well and truly crispy, and then my fear of a disastrous fire will override my laziness. This is also the week when I work on my “Unravel Your Year” booklet and try to come up with my “word for the year,” a motivational word which will guide me through thick and thin in 2023. “A word can be embraced as a mantra, a meditation, a reminder, a promise. A word can be interpreted in different ways.” - says Susannah Conway, who will provide you with a downloadable guide to determining your word. This might lead you to “Embrace! Expand! Create! Health” or something. I’m leaning towards “Sleep! Pie! Netflix! Laugh!” Actually, “Laugh” might be a good one.
